how cold does it have to get, or how cold does the wind chill have to be in order for schools to close usually?

A bee-hive is in my house hanging high on the tree, its size almost 12-15 inches in length and 8-10 inches in breadth. I want to squeeze the honey so that the bees could not be harmed as well the comb might remain hanging for the next honey storage. I want to know the best time of the day and the season to squeeze and how it is possible guarding myself from the stings of the bees, perhaps leaving the comb for again filling.
