I have a 1941 German coin w an eagle and swastika on it. It is about the size of an amercan nickel. Any idea what it is worth?? ty for input.

You have a 10 reichspfennig 1941 coin from Hitler's Third Reich. There are 2 types dated 1941, one type with a hole at the center(1940-41) and is very scarce in any grade(minimum $15 up to $45 in mint condition). The other type(1940-45) without center hole, and is more common. It's made of zinc and very common in grades lower than uncirculated. Many mints in Germany made this coin, and on the average, a 1941 reichpfennig is valued at $0.10 to $0.50 in circulated condition to about $6 in mint.

Chances are that its not worth very much if anything. Germany in 1941 turned out millions of coins in various denominations. Depending on where you live, go to the yellow pages and look for Stamps & Coin dealers. they might be able to help you.

It's worth a fortune as a reminder of what should never happen again in any form, in any Country.
As far as monetary value, you might look up WWII memorabilia on eBay and write to one of the Sellers who specializes in that field. They could likely give you a decent idea of the monetary value.
