You see, for school, my teachers made us do this stupid project in which we have to research American civic duties, and Ancient Rome's civic duties. And when I mean civic duties, I mean like, voting, or paying taxes, or charity. I know enough about America's civic duties, it's the Rome's civic duties that I need help with. Plus what did Rome and America today do the same? For one thing, I know that they both voted, but that's all, and I can't find a good enough websight to tell me any more similarities. Can anyone out there give me a websight, or tell me what Rome's civic duties are and what is the same between theirs, and ours? Please? I really need anyone's help!!!!!!!!!

My school's principal decided our school will have an end-of-year event. Each student has to write a persuasive essay about what should we have. Here is how the letter goes: Your principal has announced that your school will be having an end-of-year event. However, it is up to the students to decide what the event should be. Some students think that an after school dance would be fun and others would prefer a field trip to a local museum.

I don't know what to write about so can you please help me pick a topic and get me started on my persausive essay. You can get me started by picking the topic that you think is best, help me get started on my introduction, give me 3 reasons of why I should pick that topic, and give me details to back up the 3 reasons.

we have to do a report on an animal. and our science teacher, she said this time she would give us extra points if we had a really catchy, corny title. EXAMPLE: tick. "THEY SUCK. (YOUR BLOOD)
and my animal is the MAN OF WAR JELLYFISH and i cannot think of a title. all i know is that its a really dangerous animal and its shaped like a battleship. so if i could put that info together and make a realllllly corny title.

ok, well im doing a Step function research project where i have to graph a step function. i did my function on lost distance phone calls. for every minute, a phone company would charge $3.25.
got the picture yet?
well on the rubric for my project, it says: 10 points are giving for "real world problems using interpolation and extrapolation, with correct answers"

what in the world does my teacher mean by that???

the question is this:

the light from a 22-foot street lamp creates a shadow in front of a 5 and a half foot tall person standing 4 feet from the lamppost. how long is the person's shadow?

i believe the answer is impossible since
1) lights dont cast shadows
2) it does not state where in front of the person it ends
3) what if the person is wearing heels and isnt 5 and a half feet any more????

seriously.

am i right or what???
