We have a compulsory public speaking session at our school and we haven't been given a very long time to prepare our topics. Apart from the fact that I'm gonna make a fool of myself speaking in front of more than 20 people for the first time (2000 people!), I really can't think up anything much for the topic that I was given. Hey guys, I am stuck on this problem!

A bucket is placed on a lift that starts moving upwards at velocity v(t) with constant acceleration "a" at time, t=0. A fixed pipe discharges water into the bucket at constant velocity of V. I need to find the time "t" it requires to fill the bucket with water.

The pipe as inlet area of A(1), bucket is cylindrical with bottom area of A(2) and height H.

Any ideas where to start?
