Here's my question... am I supposed to use the Addition/Substitution/graphing method for these two equations or am I supposed to decide whether they are both correct or if one of them is false. And if I am supposed to decide if they are correct or false, don't I need something that says X equals a specific number or Y equals a specific number? I am confused on what to do with this problem.

In the play, The Tragedy of Oedipus, Oedipus finally realizes that his fate was pre-determined by the gods. in your opinion is our destiny pre-determined or do we have some control or even total control over our own lices. Take a spostion either way and support your answer by citing evidence from the text or by using your own personal experiences.

This is my essay assignment. I took the position that fate is controlled by ones self, and may not be pre-determined if you agree, can you please give me some of you ideas, I'm running short on what to write about
Thanks!
