No one will write you an essay on slavery.
If you're not good at writing essays and papers, you need to get better at it. Life is full of term papers and essays. Also, you'll need to narrow your topic, because slavery is so broad.

Some topics:
- Look at the 3/5's compromise. It states that each slave will be counted as 3/5's of a person.
- Look up such people as Abe Lincoln, Harriet Tubman, Harriet Beecher Stowe.
- Also, look up info on the Underground railroad, and describe what a slave would have to go through to get to Canada, or at least the Northern states to get their freedom.
- Find out the trade route that was from Africa to the United States.

This is how you could organize your essay- and any other essays that you will have. Commit this to memory, and you'll never go wrong!
Introduction (state your point, and what you'll be talking about- this is typically where you tell the reader about the main points of your paper. 3-5 sentences)
3-5 Main points, each 1 paragraph long.
Conclusion- wrap up your paper. Be sure to restate the main points- not in the same words!

I'm sure that you would need to state how/when slavery ended, what law was passed that ended it. You could also mention some prominent slave owners, such as George Washington, James Madison, and others of our founding fathers. Also, slavery was at it's peak when cotton and tobacco were the main crops of the South, creating large plantations that needed cheap help.

I probably could, but I won't. Here's some help however, that might allow you to start filling up a lot of paper, and be warned, stir up some controversy. Look into some of the myths surrounding slavery. Was the "Civil War" (which was not a civil war at all) about slavery? What year did the "Civil War" begin, and what year did Lincoln abolish slavery? Who was Lincoln's first choice to command the Union Army? (It wasn't Grant). Look into Robert E. Lee's opinion of slavery. Look at where the major import centers for slaves were in the U.S. Look at who some of the large slave owners and traders in the U.S. and abroad were. Slavery was and is, of course, horrifically wrong. Southern Caucasians were indeed involved in slavery, but at what point did we start believing that only Southern Caucasians were responsible for slavery? Good luck with you essay.
