I have to write an essay on the following:

In a nation defined by video games, reality TV, and virtual friendships, with a White House that has perfected the art of politics as public relations, what is reality to Americans today? And did we ever have a grasp of it?

I already asked a similar question and got good replies. However, none of them really answered the second part of the question: if americans ever had a touch with reality in the first place? I think that we did have it once, before world war ii, and all these inventions like virtual video games, reality tv, etc. How about you? Can you give specific reasons for why you believe we did ever have a grasp of reality?

During the vietname war, even though we, as america, were losing the war terrbily, we were being told that we were actually winnin. was this lie told to us by the government or the media.

from what i remember, before that time, the government and media were on the same side. however, the government had decieved the media into believeing we were winning, which, in turn told us (the common people) that we were winning. Is this true because if it is, then the media can't be blamed for that can it? Or was it the media who already knew the truth but they did not convey it to us?

find "vo" and "a" if v - 28 m/s when t=4s and v=43 m/s when t=7s.
