hello, i am doing a research paper on the boy who cried wolf. the way i heard it uses a wolf, in other countries, tigers and lions have been used in place of the wolf. if responding, please tell your story, when you heard it, state country of origin (if different), and if you have online sites or references they are more than welcomed. thanks

Yes, in Brazil it´s not a wolf, it´s an alligator. Or, at least, that´s how my mother told me the story about 25 years ago!
It´s basically the same thing, but the alligator either eats the boy´s foot or eats him up, I don´t remember!

There's a children's book called The Wolf Who Cried Boy. Look it up on amazon.
