It was for me. I graduated with a B.B.A. in finance (3.4 gpa) 5 years ago. Have I found a "professional" job? No. I've just been working as a landscaper making $8/hr.

I probably send out 50 to 60 resumes a week. Personally, I don't know how much longer I can keep doing this to myself. Sometimes, I just want to throw the towel in and quit.

My problem is this: Before attending the university I graduated from, I attended another and did not mention any of the courses taken when applying to my eventual alma mater, as this would have dramatically lowered my GPA. I later went on to grad school and omitted the first university’s transcripts because they would not have appeared on my undergrad transcripts. Now I would like to apply to law school, and I do not wish to hide the first universities grades (I understand hiding anything on your bar application is VERY bad), however I am concerned that when a prospective law school looks over the transcripts from my undergraduate and graduates degrees and does not see the first university’s grades I may run into problems. This was a stupid mistake, but I really need to correct this without losing my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Any advise?

I love to read, and I love to analyze literature. I have AP credit for English Composition 101, and I am going to get credit for English Composition 102 from this liberal arts class I am taking. I don't want to just be a high school English teacher though. I don't know what type of jobs someone can get with an English degree. I'm going to take a literature class next semester. I don't know if I want to take World, British, or American, but I am thinking I'd like to take World. I also don't know how to be motivated enough to not procrastinate. I can get great grades when I just focus and do my work. I'm starting to get lazier though. I'm tired of taking core classes in subjects that I am not interested in. I'm a freshman in my first semester. I had some preperation for college from my high school, but no one really tells you what to do in college. I guess if anyone has any advice to give on any of that, that'd be helpful.

I've been in a community college for almost three years now, i've been picking one or two classes per semester, i've skipped a semester, i feel terrible,... so damn irresponsible... i feel like crap.
From the beggining it had to be 2 years in community college and then transfer to a four year college, but it seems so far away now...
It's been three years now, and i haven't completed even the half of the core curriculum... i'm so ashamed of myself... i fear that TIME gets ahead of me...

I was admitted to both USC and UC Berkeley as a freshman and against the advice of all my friends, teachers, college counselors, and even parents, I chose USC because I knew they had smaller class sizes and I heard about the "Trojan Family". I have had an abysmal time at USC both socially (I'm feeling the whole Trojan Family is a load of crap) and academically (I'm finding out classes I thought were hard here are laughed at by the UCs and other highly ranked universities) and now have an opportunity to transfer to UC Berkeley next fall, but some people are now telling me that would be a big mistake. Any reasonable opinion would be helpful. I am studying both chemistry and physics.

I am a very good student and was wondering what universities I should apply to. I have a 3.94 GPA, good test scores, etc. I am a shoe- in for a lot of colleges but I won't get into a Harvard or Princeton. I want to go to big city type colleges but it is not a must. I would really appreciate some suggestions. Right now I am applying to Michigan State, Purdue (both of which I should get into), Universtiy of Michigan (probably will get in), NYU and Notre Dame.
