Can you use a minor the same way you can use a major?

Could I get a job with my minor just as I could with my major? I am more interested in my minor but it isn't offered as a major.

My major is agri business and my minor is horticulture

That depends on what occupation you would like to follow. For instance, if you had enough hours for a minor in Nursing, you would not be eligible to be hired as a nurse. But if you had a minor in Journalism and an aptitude for writing you might be able to find a job in that field.
