I am looking for a word having meaning of "in this matter", other than 'hereof'.

The word is used in this context:
I appreciate your assistance ....... (in this matter).

Thank you for your time and help for me!

I would simply omit "in this matter."

"I sincerely appreciate your assistance."

That's tough... I would probably just go with "in this matter." Or maybe something like "Your assistance is greatly appreciated." Good luck! I hope they assist you, LOL
