It depends on the quality of the high school. There are bad public schools and bad private schools, and the opposite is true. They universities understand there are different high school qualities.

it depends upon the applicant... Regardless if you come from public or private school as long as you comply the requirements of the school there is no reason why college or university won't accept you... Study well in high school and keep on trying to go to college.. Its good to have ambition in life.

I go to one of the top univerities in the country and there are students here from public schools, vocational schools, private schools, international schools... it doesn't matter. What matters is how YOU perform while you're in school.
