How is the degree of confidence you have in yourself? You want to walk a road but the smoothest one? Don't we all. At 42 your at the "Last Chance Bus Stop". Do yourself a favor and pick Science.
History is easiest, Science is the biggest challenge.
I'd rather be able to mix a good drink than tell someone about Gengis Khan.....

The good thing about these two degrees and the fact your taking open uni means you dont have to decide for quite a while, you can take all the low pointers and common modules and then decide, you may have a better idea of what you want by then, and just go with what you feel is right,
Hope that helps

TAKE CHEMISTRY! I have a teaching degree in History and it is the hardest job to find. I have yet to get into a classroom. History will be an easier subject to take, but in the long run science will get you farther! TRUST ME!

Both very different subjects - it really depends on whether or not you are studying solely for enjoyment or if you are doing it with a view to working in your chosen field later on. If it's the latter, think realistically about which one will be useful enough to put you on the career path you want and go for that one. Good luck.

History sounds more fun and probably a better subject to teach. Science can be demanding I know I work in education...

Depends on your capabilities...
If you're good in numbers.. Go for Sciences Degree
If you're good in remebering.. Go for Arts Degree
Both degrees got its own value...
But, believe it or not, sciences degree are preferable..
Why ?.. Sciences are more difficult from Arts..
Most people perceived that sciences graduates are more brilliant.
But, everything actually rely on your grades for your degree.
The fact of life, that is almost true is... Higher grade got higher chances...
Wish you the BEST of LUCK !

Depends on what is difficult for you, if math and lab work is easy for you the molecular science, if writing reports and researching historical events is easier for you then history.

If you enjoy writing and literature- opt for history- if you like maths and science opt for that.
The ou is great and will help you through both very well.

I think u should opt for history, where you don't have to give reasons as to why this is so or how this came, etc

finding on the place you do the degree you would be able to or would possibly no longer desire a point maths. it is with reference to the popular you are going to desire. i think which you will would desire to be waiting to do a constrained quantity of calculus
