i would like to do some bussiness related work. What are my options other than research. I'm a very idenpendent type person so i don't want to have to work for someone else. i want to start something that i can possibly develop into something bigger. Are there any other options when i finish masters degree in biology or are research and med school my only options. Any thoughts, input or info from or on similar situations would be greatly appreciated. or if you know of someone with a masters degree doing something totally different, the info would be cherished.
thanks much in advance.

I'm an undergraduate college student, majoring in Physics and specializing in Medical Physics. I'm not a genious, I'm just an average joe but love doing physics stuffs (In fact, lots of my fellow students are smarter and brighter than me!). My IQ is fluctuative, ranging from 128 to 150.

Academically, my GPA right now is about 3,69 out of scale 4. But outside the academic, what qualifications should I fulfill as a scientist? Outside science, I have some keen interest in English and History and my hobbies include writing and singing.

Sometimes, I hear some voices in my head like "You won't make it. You have no talent at all! You can not win! Whadda loser!" and I feel like I'm not as good as the others....

I want to study in counseling psychology for my master degree. I need to decide whether to study school counseling or mental health counseling, because most of the graduate schools are divided into these categories. I know that school counseling works in schools, and mental health works in the society. I've seen some school counselors say that there is so much paper work to do in their job that is not related to their profession. Is this true? I think I would prefer to work with children and family. I am quite confused on which to choose. I'd like to know the good and bad parts of being a mental health counselor and also school counselor. Also are there much job opportunities? Thank you very much !

I recently got my undergraduate degree from an Italian University ( I am an EU student).
given the fact that i'm desperately looking for a post graduate course abroad and possibly the chance of relocating there later on a permanent basis,i need the following advice.

taking in consideration the following aspects in order to make a decision, what country would you recommend/would you want to relocate to for an MBA or Masters in Accounting?

- Master degree tuition fees
- Living and Accomodation expenses
- Cultural diversity of the local Enviroment, attractiveness of the country/city, quality of life
- "Return on Investment" (value for money, world wide reputation) and Quality of education standards
- chances of finding a job in the same country on a permanent basis.
- given visa constraints
- (last but not least) entry requirements, ie gmat, working experience, chances of being accepted

I have a high SAT score and am in the top of my class, but I really want to go to Texas A&M. I am scared that this might be a hinderance to my education. My entire family has gone to A&M and I am deeply rooted in the traditions. I want to earn a degree in Biomedical Sciences with the hope of pursing med school or physical therapy. I do not plan on attending med school @ A&M.

I'm a second year student at San Diego State University, business major. I am interested in possibly transferring to UCLA, my GPA so far is 3.6, but I am expecting it to rise a bit after my Fall and Spring Semesters this year. I am probably somewhere around 15 or 18 units ahead of schedule, so I could be on pace to graduate early, or possibly double major. I'm on the Dean's List. What are my chances of possibly being admitted?

I am thinking about taking an online course, has anyone ever taken one online and been successful? or is it just a way to get your money? I am also concerned that it may not be accredited. do you know one that is accredited, accredited by the southern colleges. because we all know if they are not, we will not find a job after all is done. my friend took one online for nursing and no one will hire her because of that. I am kind of afraid to inquire. just want your opinion. If you know a good one. thank you for your time
