the difference between a 2:2 and a 2:1 isnt how hard you work its how much you suck up. this is true and before you say you dont want to suck up as its unethical i say do it it will be good practice for the real world. sad fact is if you want to get on you have to suck up. just look around and look at the people who are successful but dont seem to have any talent - all they do is suck up

You dont mention what year you're in! if you're in your first year it's not a problem. If in your second year then go and speak to your personal tutor and careers adviser. It is their job to help out people like you and they DO NOT want lots of people passing their course with low grades as this will look very bad on national league tables!! I was expected to pass with a 2:2 but got a 2:1 eventually.
Absolutely no dope and cuting down on beers will also be very usefull!!! Good luck with it!

The prof in each class you're borderline in should know of tutors available (or ask one of the better students if they would be willing to tutor you). Arrogance is part and parcel of law school so swallow your pride and get the help. In the long run it's a small price to pay.
