Sorry.. it does not always work out that way.. There is NO logic between the date of your birth.. that is.. the DAY of your birth and the DAY of your retirement... UNLESS you want to make it that way.

This is too confusing. I thought one could retire ANY TIME/ANY DAY as long as it fits the company's regulations for retirement.

It is entirely up to you when you retire.

If you are close to retirement age and are ina job then you prbably need to come to some agreement with your employeer!

You can ""retire"" anytime that is deemed appropriate by your employer's policy, or if you hit the lottery, your personal "retirement"".

Per Social Security - retirement is determined by your age, e.g. DOB.
