A medical school is the actual school where one goes to become a doctor. It's a university, generally. A teaching hospital is a hospital that has students in the health field - and may include medical students, nursing students, student technicians, etc.
So, if you're studying to be a doctor you go to the school for lectures and the teaching hospital for practical experience.

A medical school is an institution like any other college where medical students attend classes. There are no patients at the medical school. But every med school has to be assosiated with one or more hospitals where med students can learn about clinical medicne. So a teaching hospital typically is also staffed by med students residents interns and fellows who take care of the patients under the supervision of established doctors.

A medical school is just a university setting where required classes are taught. They are typically affiliated with a teaching hospital which is where students are allowed to do rounds with physicians and learn/be taught as they go along.

You answered your own question. One is a school with classrooms and laboratories. The other has patients where student doctors and novice physicians such as interns and residents are trained more extensively on guinea hogs termed real people.
