I've lived in a large, culturally diverse city all my life. The town I'm moving to is charming and very small, but I'm beginning to doubt I'm making the right decision. I think I'm just afraid of being alone, 1500 miles away, without my kids (they want to stay in the big city) for two years. Just the thought of the move fills me with dread, but I know that I must finish my education. Any suggestions in dealing with this?

when a water polo ball is submerged below the surfaces in a swimming pool and released from rest, it is observed to pop out of the water.how would you expect the height to which it rises above the water to vary with depth of submission below the surface?would you expect the same result for a beach ball?for a table tennis ball?

I am 15 and in 11th grade. I am 7th in my class of 211 students. My GPA is a 98.25. I want to go to an ivy league school, but I have barely any extracurriculars besides a very lame swim career and playing the bassoon in the school band. Anyway, I know that in the admission process they weed out the kids who didn't participate in high school. You may be thinking why is this loser saying this, but I do have a point-- I am halfway through writing a novel and I am going to get it published. Do you think this will make up for my lack of having a life? Will it show them that I didn't just waste my time away? What do you think? Am I doomed to a lonely life at some junky school like UCONN?

I've grown up in the same city my whole life, it's definitely my comfort zone and the friends I have are close and I've known them for years. I'm only moving an hour and a half away, but I want to make this experience the best it can be so I really want to make friends, give a good impression of myself to others and really just have a good time. Any advice?
