I just graduated from CC with AGS and ASOT degrees and am entering a 4-year University as a Junior. I will graduate from there with BA in Nursing. I am planning to continue taking Microbiology courses, while I work as a nurse with critically-ill children, with a long-term goal of working in the field during epidemics and pandemics, and also doing disease research. I am 63, and hold a 3.71 GPA. So, if you are healthy enough...you are never too old to learn!

A few years back, I had an 80 year old man in my English class. I'm not sure when he started back to college, but he was a senior when he was in my class. (The only reason I know his age is that he registered for free - because of his age - and he showed me his information.)

I was in class with a 72 year old lady that was pursuing the study of the French language. It was pretty amazing. :)

She was tenacious and incredibly encouraging.
