If you live in the dorms-almost definitely. At my school we have a couple different parties that go on late at night and the Saturday before Halloween (which is when more of the parties take place) a bunch of kids from the surrounding towns come trick or treating to our rooms if we want. They provide the candy and everything. If you know any upper-classmen talk to them about what happened last year and if they know of anything going on this year.

When I was in college the answer was typically no for most of us, although occasionally some groups of friends might get together and do it for fun. Now sometimes the frats or certain interest clubs might have a halloween costume party though. This was back in late 80s early 90s.

most students don't dress up to to go to class, but especially if you are at a school where partying is big halloween is huge... it's usually attached to the closest weekend and you go out in costumes and every party is a halloween party. so halloween is like a 3 or 4 day event!

uhmm.. i don't think so. college is way lot different from high school. students tend to forget all these stuff because they believe that there are more important things to do. although there might be organizations in your school that do celebrate halloween. ask around the campus.

Haha, my first year at college these two guys dressed up like Superman and some unrecognizable superhero, spandex and all. And they proudly walked around campus in them.

I guess that all depends on your school. If you want to dress up, go for it. Who cares what other people think. It's college, make the best of it!

I hope so, I'm a freshman too, and Halloween is so fun! I'll be kinda dissappointed if no one is into dressing up.

When I was in college I dressed up on Halloween like someone who was poor, hungry, and tired.

Oh, wait......that was everyday.

They generally not. But last year, my teacher gave extra credit for those who dressed up. She did. So i guess it depends.

Absolutely not! I've never heard of anyone 13 or older wearing Halloween costume to school!
