Its for a public speaking class, while I'm sure I can fit into the time limit, i still have to research certain newspaper archives and such to gather info, do the outline, rehearse with note cards etc.
Any suggestions besides don't procrastinate in the future?

Okay, I plan on dropping out of high school and trying to get into college. I am 15 and will only have completed my freshmen year, which I most likely failed due to a few (probably about 60) absences. I could go on for hours explaining the story behind this, but it isn't needed.
I know that I can handle whatever stress college might create, and I can even more easily handle the academics. I will also have my own car this year, and my license, so that won't be a problem.

The problem is that anybody looking at my academic record would probably turn me down immediately (It is that bad).

Honestly though, not meaning to sound conceited, I am probably more intelligent that most of the kids at my high school (higher grade levels included)

Anybody know my options, or anything I can do to expand them? Finishing high school is not an option, for reasons that I do not have room here to include, so please do not suggest it.

We had a debate and wanted to know if a person who is in college but wanted to attend a different college can he apply to a different college using high school grades and not college grades? He went to college for 3 years. I asked why and he said my grades are bad.

What is more valuable in learninig terms assume that the class would be non-credited and you'd only be auditing it so you wouldn't be getting a diploma or and thing out of it beyond learning something.

Spending 2 hours in class with prof. or 2 hours at home reading the book. ????

Assume proffesor is an average run of the mill type NO GENIUS IN CONTENT or Communication of content. JUST AN average run of the mill proffesor.

email me back . .in response to my email. I just asked him questions like how things are now at the Univ. where he is now. It is his current email so I know it got to him. What a jerk. How hard is it to reply. Why wouldn't he reply?

He is married . . but I don't act like I am flirting with him.

He moved from a Univ. in CO to one in Australia. He has 3 children. His wife is a professor too. Isn't it wrong as a professor to shun your former students w/o good reason . .or w/o any reason?

does anyone know if U of western ontario accepts students application even the deadline is passed?
I'm trying to switch out of Waterloo and waiting anxisouly for their answers...
the first time i talked with the admission coordinator she told me i was too late and thus hopeless...however,
I tried to call again next day and she said they 'd consider my late application..so i told her my marks at both high skool and uni and she said there should be no problem .. (for your reference my avg was 90.5% at HS and 78% at uni)
does she really mean it? I hope they are not fooling with me because it took me one year worth of courage to decide on this change of future career goal.....
im so damn worried
