I plan on being a Foreign Service Officer (it's like a diplomat) after college. It involves two to four year tours in different countries around the world doing different diplomatic work... That sort of thing.

So any suggestions on what I should major in when I go to college in two years? I'm planning on getting my Master's (how long does that take?) and would be willing to attempt a double-major if anyone recommends it. Otherwise, what should I major, as well as minor, in? I'm very interested in languages, so I've been contemplating in having some language or another as my minor... What do you all think?

Oh, and does anyone have any good suggestions for schools that are well-known for their international relations programs? Preferably in the midwest (near Wisconsin) because I'm poor and probably want to do something in-state if at all possible. Otherwise, I need a LOT of scholarships... LOL.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me! Sorry this question is so long...

I was interested in majoring in criminal justice, but I heard the FBI is looking for people with accounting degrees. Now I have no idea what accounting is or have ever taken a class on it. What if I wanted to "try" it out, could I take a class in college. Would this cost extra money?

Which is more difficult stats or college algebra. I am terrible at word problem and average with calculations. I'm pretty good with formulas but sometimes have troubling knowing when to apply them. And, to make things worse, when it comes to math, I am not the brightest bulb in the chandelier. So, for someone like me, what do you advise?

I'm a freshman in High School but I'm working so hard to achieve my dreams of becoming a dermatologist. I've been doing researches on the medical schools in Florida and I've got some helpful information but I'd like to get some advices from real people. Is there anything I can do in high school to help with getting into a really good medical school like the University of Miami School Of Medicine? Because that's where I want to go to. I'm probably going to be taking medical skills through out my years in high school but I feel that college is just around the corner and I'd like to plan my future as much as possible. Thank you for your help!

I'm trying to decide whether to continue college or not. I'll tell you a bit about me, as I’m not really your typical college freshman.
I started my first business at 15 years old selling collectible cards online and later went to start a magazine for young entrepreneurs, which grew to 7 columnists.
Most recently I started non-profit organization for charities, which grew to about 10 people and landed some impressive clients while appearing on press.
I *was forced to* major in engineering (long story). The course load sucked away all my time to pursue my own endeavors.
Hence, I'm thinking of whether to even finish college, as it seems like a total waste of time. I haven't made millions yet, but I DID succeed in a number of other things. Getting very influential people to take serious a guy at my age seriously is NOT easy, but I managed to do it.
Should I continue college? Are the years better off on business? Thanks!
