60 credits

Well, generally speaking a student takes 15 cred per semester the first two yrs. So, at the end of soph yr he/she has accrued 60 credits. Science students will obviously have more credits and are considered juniors for the purposes of registration and sometimes housing a semester earlier...potentially.

When I was in college you needed at least 128 credits to be considered a junior. Can't remember if we were on trimesters though.
