I do have a major in biology and chemistry- but I still need that degree in physician asstaint. All schools require some med experience, I figured this would be a quick way to obtain that. There are many programs out there but has anyone came acrossed something that is speedy and perferrable online that is benefical. I do work a full time job but can find time to fit it in. Or does anyone one know or have experienced something other than EMT program that can help my situation. My college had little help for situation of life, and I really need some help. all of the basics needed, the many years of schooling. For us with learning disabilities; its outrageous to find a major that does not require extensive math skills and still make adequate money. The government says they stress education and job skills and yet they are giving all the jobs to others or making the requirements so hard that no one can meet them and end up dropping out. Do you agree?

It really bothers me that most Medical Schools require a semester or even a year of Calculus from undergrad's while in college. I'm not the perfect mathematician genius and I struggle so bad in upper level math courses above the basic add, subtract, multiply, divide math problems and basic algebra. Math has always been my weakness, and my question is to any physicians out there who are reading this, do you actually find limits, integrals, f(x), f'(x)...ect. when examining patients or diagnosing them? What good does Calculus do when it comes to being a doctor? Does it mean that "hey I took Calculus, pat me on the back!!" or does it really come into play when practicing medicine? The truth of the matter is, I hate all math above college algebra and I really would like some feed-back if anyone agrees my perspective on this issue of mine.

I am transferring from a two-year college to Adelphi University in New York this fall (2006) to study nursing. The yearly tuition is $20,000 and I can't afford it without taking out a loan. I really don't want to take out a $40,000 loan. Are there any programs, organizations or foundations that can assist me financially? I have applied for scholarships and received $5,000 for the year but that is hardly enough to cover at least half of the tuition. I still need to pay for books and transportation. I will appreciate any information you can share.

just wondering is it an easy or difficult test because some people said that the actual THEA test is easier than the practice test itself.

Hi guys!!

I've just been accepted to Hofstra and St. John's MBA programs. I am interested in financial services and would realy like to hear some advice of which of the two to choose.

I still wait answers from Baruch and Fordham. What about them?
Any advice would be valuable since i cannot find any information in Greece about them.

I know they are not like NYU or Columbia, but my pocket is not that deep.either my credentials, since i am just graduating from my university. The only thing so far that "pushes" me to St. John's is its location in Manhattan.

What about their work prospects?
I know i ask too much but i really need advise!!!!
Thanks in advance everybody!!!!

I have to send in a 15-30 pp writing sample to get into a History grad program at a pretty good school. My only paper that's close to that length is 16pgs long and is about the contributions of a rapper. It seemed like a laid back cute sounding paper then but now Im worried that it will come off as silly. Should I make some of my 10 pagers longer or do you think if I tweak this one it will work? Please be honest
