Yes I do. Going to college is just like buying a showroom car. It's expensive, and it keeps getting more and more expensive. If you ask me I think the government already had it figured out that way in order to keep out certain types if you catch my drift. I don't know any people who can pay for college out of pocket. Plus to get a loan or grant means you better pass and get a good paying job cause then you have to pay them back. Man has just made life unbareable, and education much harder. The new math they have now is confusing and unnecessary. I haven't seen anyone doing fractions in the grocery store or any store for that matter. Yet I have seen a lot of people having problems with $5.50 and hour. The government will increase everything but a pay check.

Sorry, I disagree. A college degree is something that you earn, not something that's just given to you for "trying hard." Why? Having a degree tells people (most importantly, employers) that you have achieved a certain minimum of mastery of basic skills, with quite a lot MORE mastery in whatever area in which you majored.
If you can't complete the "general education" requirements for a Bachelor's degree, then there are other alternatives that can get you good jobs. You can go, for example, to a "trade school" and get certified in a specific skill. A certification from a reputable trade school is, in many cases, EVEN BETTER than a college degree--as far as some employers are concerned--for many positions.

It is true and the job market is getting more and more competitive. There are easier degrees but the only good jobs are ones where you need a math intensive major in college. But either way it's still really hard to get good money when you graduate. Also it's hard to get out of school in a decent amount of time while working at the same time.
At my college there was a diabled student center. They offered tutoring and professors would let the center proctor tests for disabled students so they could have more time. You might want to try to look into that. Good luck!

Try Ginko Biloba everyday, for better brain function. It helps! Also you have to follow your heart, not the $$$. If you study something you love & enjoy, then you'll remember more. There are alot of degrees you can get with basic College Algebra credit. But your right, the BIG bucks go to the ones who study and can pass the HARD subjects. But we're still all stressed about our GPA. Passing doesn't cut it, you have to graduate at or near the top!! If don't believe you can do it, your only hexing yourself.

Not in the least. In fact, I think colleges (in my experience) have been TOO lenient. Every college has a special department to make accomodations for those with disabilities. You should contact that department for help making arrangements (i.e. more time on tests, special hearing equipment, etc).
Our high schools are dropping the ball many times and moving kids into the world without adequate training. Our colleges HAVE to step in.

If it was easy to get, every one would have a variety of degrees. With a learning disability, a proven one, there is help available to get you thru the really tough classes. Good luck.

College isn't for everyone. We have watered down HS courses to the point where anybody can pass them. Now you expect the same from college? You have no clue what it's all about, do you?

No. It prepares you to be better than average in a competitive world. If I could get a Bachelor's degree, then you can. :)
