I do have a major in biology and chemistry- but I still need that degree in physician asstaint. All schools require some med experience, I figured this would be a quick way to obtain that. There are many programs out there but has anyone came acrossed something that is speedy and perferrable online that is benefical. I do work a full time job but can find time to fit it in. Or does anyone one know or have experienced something other than EMT program that can help my situation. My college had little help for situation of life, and I really need some help. This has been a life passion for a very long time and he need to help other people live is great ambition for me... Thanks for any advice-

There are no on-line courses for EMT, as you need so much hands-on experience to learn it.
In US for national registry, you need the health care provider CPR class, and EMT-Basic class to start down your path. They both are very informative, and fun.
After that, there are many steps you can take to further yourself along that course.
Good luck, wish I could help you more.

Being an EMT is going to give you lots of experience. It's a good way to figure out if medicine is the right way to go for you. I think it would be a good way to go for you.

where i live, many of the fire depts are volunteer. they will send qualified, interested people for emt training. i believe there is little cost to you and you get experience along the way.
