To babysit you until you were old enough to be legally shown the door by your folks. *LOL* Honestly I felt high school was a complete waste of time, because nowadays jobs want at least a bachelors degree in order to be a SECRETARY, answer phones and type.

Funny, I didn't think they had Philosophy or Anthropology in high school. Besides in order to learn in college, you gotta want to be there! If you don't, stop wasting somebody's $$$.

Einstein didnt think much about education but he had this to say...
The purpose of education is to train the mind to think and for that reason it is important...
I'd agree and second that notion...
Trust me i hated high school, I cursed my way through college...
But now i am a happy man!

High school is neccesary for you to understand the basics of what is taught in university. Universities don't teach you what you learnt in high school. They teach higher-level topics which require you to have a basic understanding. That basic understanding is what is provided in high school.

the entry-level courses might be the same...but that's why we declare majors in college. In your major you are exposed to more specialized information.
