Higher Education (University +) - June 2006

I had a BA psychology. I went into a 15 month nursing masters program in which i did very well and had an a average. my woman professor who is openly gay made an advance on me which i did not respond to and then a few weeks later she said that I would be failing because she didnt think i multi-tasked very well and gave other vague comments. my dean talked to her about it and said to have someone else watch me at clinicals but she did not. what do i do??

hey i am going to be a senior in high school and i was wondering what classes i would need to take if im a biochem major? i have been trying to look it up but i cant find the required classes anywhere. i am planning on taking classes in high school and classes at a community college during my senior year to get a little ahead. so i would love to know what classes i should start taking.

I am really interested in the school. It makes me mad to know that there are tons of people who apply to Harvard and Yale just because of their big reputations who are accepted to both and choose Harvar because it is more widely known. I am not even applying to Harvard (I hear that may make a difference in admissions-is that true?). I am planning to apply Single Choice Early Action. My GPA is 4.03 weighted and my SAT scores are 800 Math (Math is my strongsuit, and I have great grades in the subject so far; I think that if I make my application Math-centric it might improve my chances, since it shows direction or whatever. is this a misled belief?) 750 Critical Reading and 720 Writing. I am President of my NHS chapter and an Editor for my school newspaper, but those are my only two leadership positions in school. I don't participate in sports but I play the piano. I am also involved in a lot of community service like through church and Red Cross Blood Drives. I know essays and .....

I've heard of Educational Psychology and it sounds great so far! How exactly do i go into this field? Does anyone do this for a living? Pros & Cons? Whats your salary like and the job market? I thought of teaching but salary is low and jobs are mostly filled internally. ARe there any other jobs similar to this field? Please give me any info you may have!

Librarian? I'm a student that take a course that focus to be Librarian ( but we also can be information manager... but librarian is our main focus ). What do you think about librarian? When i read a book about career and pay... the librarian salary not bad. Hmm... i dun want be a streotype librarian ( so serius all time ) bcoz I'm so friendly and i hate to be serious. Then, do u think i should be librarian or information manager?

I'm a man and work at a University and If I had a spouse she could go to college here for free as part of my benefit package. But I don't have a spouse and that benefit is going to waste. Would anyone be interested in a marraige of convenience to get a free college education? just wondering....
