My score was 125 and my percentile score was 87%. Is that good or not? Im trying to get into the nursing program in the competative selection process.(LPN) What were your scores?? Somebody help!!! Honest answers from someone who has taken the exam please.

...between teaching, psychology and/or art (like interior designing or something of that sort.) I love to help people, I love kids, and I love art. I was also thinking along the lines of sociology - another way of helping people/learning about new cultures, etc. Does anyone have any professional experience with any of the above? I need advice so I can figure out where and how to continue my edcuation. Thanks! :)

I am neither white or black. The problem I have is when I see black people have an all black pageant, all black organization, an all black emmy award, all black scholarship, or all black anything - I think this is racist. Especially if today's culture is more modernize and the norm today is having a melting pot of all people and skin color. If I was a poor white student, I would be upset that there is no scholarship or organization to help poor white kids. Maybe the skinheads or KKK were right. This world will be taken over by minorities. Look at the hispanics, they will be the majority in 15 years. I think we should ban African American clubs/organizations. It's not right! My race is the islander. Someone help us understand this black and white issue.

I can understand 25 years ago, but not today. Everyone has the same opportunity. We should make it available for everyone. ex. have a scholarship for people who deserves (doesn't matter what color).

How much do I need to study for this tests, what types of questions are on the test and how should I study for it. My GPA was only a 2.5 so I really need to try and perform well on the GMAT.

if you are a good student, you feel like society says you have to go to college, i am in this situation

i want to look into trades possibly from a technical school but everyone is assuming i'm going to a 4 year university and i feel like i'll let them down because most people in my extended family went to 4 year colleges (one went to a 2 year and one didn't go)

i know you can make a lot of money from a trade but everyone thinks i'm more of a white collar person

is anyone else in a similar situation

does anyone have advice

I just wanted to see where I stand with my SAT scores. I'm definately planning on taking them again (I want to at least get up to 2000) but for now, this is what I have.

Critical Reading 630 84%
Math 600 73%
Writing 590
Multiple Choice 60 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 8 (score range: 2-12)

I also have a 3.4 G.P.A.

My ideal school is Elon University (with a BFA in musical theatre)

Their scores are as follows:
SAT Reasoning Verbal: 560 - 640 100%
SAT Reasoning Math: 570 - 650 100%

I took honors classes my freshman and sophmore years and in my junior year I took AP classes (still waiting on my scores).

As far as extracurriculars go, I don't have much. Service hours from tutoring and such, 2 years chorus, 3 years drama, young activist club, and I've been in several theatre productions both in and outside of school.

So what chances do I have of getting accepted to my first choice school (obviously not including the actual audition).

I’m a high school junior/ incoming senior who recently took the ACT and scored a 23. My GPA is a 3.05 but is not entirely accurate, since i did horrendous academically my freshman year. I am interested in DU (Denver) ASU (Arizona state) and UM (Miami). What are some other competitive schools that would accept me, and how likely am i to get into the schools i just listed?
