got loads of brochures, matchbooks, pens and keyrings (guessing our british universities aren't quite up to Ipods yet) but the coolest by far were the super-concentrated fruit flavoured caffeine pills :-) Smaller than my little finger nail with a oddly addictive blackberry flavour and makes saturday nights before a night out a great deal of fun, which is what it's all about really :-)

Michigan State didn't really give out anything that great. I think the only somewhat interesting thing was a free copy of the book Mary Shelley's Frankenstein for a program called One Book One Community, a program to get students on the same wave length as the non-college residents of East Lansing. The program bombed, but on the plus side, I didn't need to buy the book for a class I had the next year.

Oh, that makes me angry. I paid $125 in freaking orientation fees and all I got was a "free" t-shirt. I knew I should have gone to a bigger school for my BA! Urgh.
