I have completed my BA in history and want to go for higher studies in history. Is there any alternative options other than MA. I also like to go for B.Ed. Can any one help me.

You can always teach or Write. How about working as a historian? There's lots of things. There's a great quote that says "Find something you like to do and you will never have to work a day in your life."

It's SO true.

The next step would be a Master's degree and you can add teaching requirements and credentials. You could also go to law school with a BA in history. There are many possibilities: archeology, sociology, art history, etc.

Become a professor. Face it, that is about the only job you are going to get with a degree like that.

Or you could join an organization that is just looking for people with college degrees - i.e. the military. Eventually you will find a use for that degree, and possibly a way to advance your degree.

You could get a Doctorate in history as well. Why not do a masters though? (Not saying you need it or not, just wondering why that isn't really an option for you)
