Im 21, and a veteran. My husband is Active Duty Air Force, and we have a son, who is 1.5 years old. Im a stay at home mom, and id like to change that. We need the money, and i need the sanity. I graduated from an uncredited private christian school, but i have a "Diploma". I have never thought of myself as a college "go getter". But, there arnt many ppl who hire without a. experience, or b. schooling within the jobs qualifications. I would prob. be going to Clovis Community College, in Clovis, NM.. and more than likely, id be going for Nursing. i have NO idea where to begin... i DO NOT have the money to go... i DO NOT know anything about courses, or credits, semesters... and all that jaz.. I know i could prob. go to the college and talk to an advisor.. but id like to know SOMETHING before i go. Not to mention the fact that my husband is a firefighter in the AF, and he works 24 hour shifts, every other day. =-( so.. how can i do this?? Someone.. please help!! ps. no vet benifits!

I work for a private attorney who recently left his firm when i begin to work for him. Because of this he never had to worry about paying secretarys and such so i was his first. The first year he took out the proper taxes from my check but didn't set up seperate accounts like he was suppose to per the government so to avoid penaltys he just wrote me a check for all my withholdings and didn't claim me, therefore i didn't file for taxes. The second year, pretty much the same thing happened, he tried to do it right but to no avail so again, i wasnt given a w2 or any other forms to file my taxes. He's on the right track this year because he has hired an accounting firm to do his payroll. But due to the mistakes made the prior 2years i have ran into trouble applying for financial aid (especially fasfa) because i have not done taxes in two years and now i won't be able to start school until May when i file this years taxes. If any one knows of any other options i may have at this point HELP!

I know this is a desperate act. I really need a US citizen/permanent resident to be my cosigner for international student loan. Please help me.

To return the favor, I'll pay u 1000 USD after a yr., which I may earn from working while studying. I'll also sign an agreemnt that I'll pay u 1000USD. I'll give you every info you'd like to know including the name of the university, address in my country, copy of my passport, social security no., anything! I'll never run from paying back the loan! Besides, I am the principal borrower so I think no one would run after the co-signer, Please!!!

You can even tell my country's embassy in the US to block me, anything, just be my cosigner please! I'll sign a contract saying I'll pay the loan, notarized in the US & my country, and have me deported and put into jail if I fail to comply with the contract, which I won't do.

I'll do everything, even being your housekeeper for no charge & still pay you 1000usd, pls. help me! I'm really desperate

The money is taken out of my pay check, then I have to use the remainder of my pay check to pay for my own college loans. Is that fair? Can anyone be morally okay with taking this money from me and using it for themselves? At the very, very LEAST, they could pay it back after they graduate and get a job.

I've heard of a program (I don't know if it is just for Mississippi or not) where the government pays for you to go to college for the nursing program, and pays for everything, as long as you practice nursing in the same state for two years after graduation. The problem is, I am having trouble finding any information on this program. I wish to start nursing school this January, and if a governmant aid such as this exists, it would be perfect for me. Anyone have any suggestions or know about this?
