I'm a freshman in college, but I'd like to get some more money for next year.

I want to know of ploaces where I can like send a video of me acting and try to get a scholarship that way (I'm an acting major)

or a place where I can enter an essay that's not a about like the civil war, more something creative or about myself.

Contact the department head and ask them if they are aware of any scholarships that have been offered in the past.

Submit your profile to scholarship search engines, you can find all the major ones listed at http://www.ReviewScholarships.com and also look into general scholarship contests that are offered through local and national businesses and civic organizations.

The best place to start is by joining several free membership search websites. It starts off with a profile based on your background and interests. Then, it will select scholarships matching what you entered into the form. I will also add some informational websites. Good luck!
