If I sign up for one scolorship and it is just like $2,000 and can you sign up for more that one or two to get to a certain amount?

Absolutely, you should sign up for as many as you can find.

Some simply require you complete some paperwork to apply, some require a submission of an essay based on a theme they've chosen.

There are lots that are available online and only take a few minutes to submit your application. But don't forget to look around locally. There are scholarships sponsored by the VFW, Lions club, Rotary, Boards of Realtors even some chambers of commerce.


There are several online scholarship search engines that help find niche scholarships that you may not even know about.

Then start making phone calls to your local civic organizations to find out if they offer any general scholarships that are available to the public.

Good Luck, it's not unusual to find yourself obtaining many scholarships for a variety of sources.

Yes, you can. Most do not have that restriction. I recommend applying for as many scholarships as you qualify for because it means less paid by your family or you in the form of student loans. It is especially true since online courses tend to cost more than traditional classroom costs per credit.
