I am a student in UK and i was looking the last 2 months for some ways to gain some money in order to minimize the expenses of my family, at least the expenses made for my educational purposes (accommodation, fees, living etc). Is there any way which will help me gain/earn some money so i will (if possible) do my living with these money and not needing so much from my family's income? Have in mind that i don't have enough time for part-time job... and please don't advertise websites which don't offer money as they say.

ONLY serious answers please. I really want to help my family.
Thanks in advance!

I know it's not that big of a deal, but it bugs me... and I'm entitled to that, lol. So, for those of you who get them confused, here you go:

LOSE /luz/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[looz] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation verb, lost, los·ing.
–verb (used with object) 1. to come to be without (something in one's possession or care), through accident, theft, etc., so that there is little or no prospect of recovery: I'm sure I've merely misplaced my hat, not lost it.
2. to fail inadvertently to retain (something) in such a way that it cannot be immediately recovered: I just lost a dime under this sofa.

LOOSE /lus/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[loos] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation adjective, loos·er, loos·est, adverb, verb loosed, loos·ing.
–adjective 1. free or released from fastening or attachment: a loose end.
2. free from anything that binds or restrains; unfettered: loose cats prowling around in alleyways

Hi,

I'm interested in getting a degree in linguistics and modern languages, and I was wondering if there's anyone who can list down some of the better universities for linguistics in either of the three above mentioned countries?

I already have my BA degree in Spanish, & I'm disabled. My GPA is pretty low, & I wish I could get my Master's, & I'm taking extra undergrad courses to try to improve my GPA & my Spanish fluency, but my depression, anxiety, & OCD are affecting my school attendance & studying. I think I'm just wasting my time since my grades aren't improving. I get so depressed I can't get out of bed most days, & every time I go in public, I always feel like I'm about to have a panic attack. I'm under so much pressure. I already have my degree. But people are still acting like I'm a freshman & calling me lazy. It's not OBLIGATORY that I continue with school, but I'm doing this for ME. I want to do better & try to improve, but with the stress & pressure, it's not working. I feel like I'm about to die. I can't take it anymore. If I quit, would I be wrong?

FINE
This is the word women use to end an argument when they feel they are right and you need to shut up. Never use "fine" to describe how a woman looks - this will cause you to have one of those arguments.

FIVE MINUTES
This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your football game is going to last before you take out the trash, so it's an even trade.

NOTHING
This means "something," and you should be on your toes. "Nothing" is usually used to describe the feeling a woman has of wanting to turn you inside out, upside down, and backwards. "Nothing" usually signifies an argument that will last "Five Minutes" and end with "Fine"

GO AHEAD (With Raised Eyebrows! )
This is a dare. One that will result in a woman getting upset over "Nothing" and will end with the word "Fine"

GO AHEAD (Normal Eyebrows)
This means "I give up" or "do what you want because I don't care" You will get a "Raised Eyebrow Go Ahead" in just a few minutes, followed by "Nothing" and "Fine" and she will talk to you in about "Five Minutes" when she cools off.

LOUD SIGH
This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot at that moment, and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing"

SOFT SIGH
Again, not a word, but a non-verbal statement. "Soft Sighs" mean that she is content. Your best bet is to not move or breathe, and she will stay content.

THAT'S OKAY
This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before paying you back for whatever it is that you have done. "That's Okay" is often used with the word "Fine" and in conjunction with a "Raised Eyebrow."

GO AHEAD!
At some point in the near future, you are going to be in some mighty big trouble.

PLEASE DO
This is not a statement, it is an offer. A woman is giving you the chance to come up with whatever excuse or reason you have for doing whatever it is that you have done. You have a fair chance with the truth, so be careful and you shouldn't get a "That's Okay"

THANKS
A woman is thanking you. Do not faint. Just say you're welcome.

THANKS A LOT
This is much different from "Thanks." A woman will say, "Thanks A Lot" when she is really ticked off at you. It signifies that you have offended her in some callous way, and will be followed by the "Loud Sigh." Be careful not to ask what is wrong after the "Loud Sigh," as she will only tell you "Nothing

I am currently a teacher of English as a Second Language to adults in a private school, but I have been thinking about getting state-certified to teach ESL to children/teenagers in public schools. I know that teaching children is going to be very different from teaching adults, and I also know that the public schools are very different now than they were when I was a student. For example, there are a lot more physical security precautions. In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges you have to face as a public school teacher? Do you have sufficient freedom to educate or do you feel like you are micromanaged or have your hands tied by administration? I have always been interested in teaching the middle school level, which comes with its own uniqueness as well, but since I have been teaching adults (and love it) I have thought more about teaching high school level, older students. What advice would you give someone seeking certification?
