I am a student in UK and i was looking the last 2 months for some ways to gain some money in order to minimize the expenses of my family, at least the expenses made for my educational purposes (accommodation, fees, living etc). Is there any way which will help me gain/earn some money so i will (if possible) do my living with these money and not needing so much from my family's income? Have in mind that i don't have enough time for part-time job... and please don't advertise websites which don't offer money as they say.

ONLY serious answers please. I really want to help my family.
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried blogging or writing an internet journal based on your experience? Some places allow you to bring your own advertising to the blog such as Blogger. However, you have to keep your entries pretty clean and make a great impression on employers. An idea for a blog might be the Economical student: Surving college on a limited budget.

Here are some ways to save on the budget:
* Search for your college textbooks on the internet because the bookstores tend to be more expensive.
* Take public transportation or ride your bicycle to your classes.
* Rent a flat or apartment off campus with a classmate you know or trust. Can be more than one if you wish because it can lower the rent.
* Minimalize eating out if you do not like left overs. Most times it costs more money to eat at a restaurant unless you have a good coupon (does not work for me since I hate leftovers).
* If you want to attend a movie, go during the cheapest hours (meaning ticket prices). However, some places do discount for college students.
* Work during the school break when possible and save your earnings as much as possible.
* Tutor for a fee struggling students in your best academic subjects. This can be done to your schedule.

Often living off campus is cheaper than living on campus. The money they charge for the meal programs is often so high by college student standards that it is cheaper to find a house with a couple roommates and buy and cook your own food.

For jobs, check into newpaper delivery, especially if you have a car. It isn't a huge time commitment, and getting up and working for an hour or so before classes will put you on a much better schedule for your schoolwork than any kind of night job. If it is a weekend paper, it could cause problems with visits home though (but if you have a reliable friend who can cover for you, this is a contract job in the US, not a position of employment, so you would be allowed to subcontract a substitute when you need to leave town.)

Are there on campus jobs? In the US there are small jobs for students that are just for a few hours a week, by design, just enough for a little income. And here, they've done studies that find working 10-20 hours a week during college helps overall grades on average.

I would also suggest if you have a job placement office, to look for the best job for your summers that you can. Some internships pay quite well, and it could help with next years fees, and look great for your CV later as well.

And if there is a office for financial aid/student counseling, you might ask there, as your school officials know the system far better than others would.
