I sent a package to a university student, but the package hasn't been received yet. It's been a week since I sent it. I checked the UPS website as well; it's been "delivered" to the university-- so why hasn't the package been received yet? Does it take time to sort out the packages?

Type: Package
Status: Delivered
Delivered On: 09/12/2007
12:43 P.M.
Well, Thursday and Friday were Rosh Hashanah. I'm not sure if mail at the university gets delivered over the weekends. UPS isn't open during the weekends, I think; I wouldn't be able to contact them.

Henry Cisco is planning to make two deposits, $25,000 now and $30,000 at the end of six years. He wants to withdraw C each year for the first six years and (C + $1,000) each year for the next six years. Determine the value of C if the deposits earn 10% interest compounded annually.

If any of you would be kind enough to leave a response about my situation, I'd appreciate it.

Well, I am 19 years old and just started my second year at a community college.

My problem is that I decided to major in biology and become a doctor. So I went ahead and took a physics sequence that was intended for biology majors. Now, as I enter my second year, I've had a change of heart. I gained interest in mathematics and chemistry and want to become a chemical engineer. The thing is this major requires a physics sequence targeted towards engineers, meaning that I will have wasted two semesters worth of physical science classes and will have to go an extra year in spite of this.

My questions are... how bad is it going a 3rd year? Does it look terrible? Is it recommended that I pick a major that could meet the 2 year deadline?

Help me:(

I have this lump near my underarm. If I'm wearing a strapless shirt, it shows because it hangs out over my shirt a little bit, whereas my other side looks completely normal. It was painful too so I went to a doctor and had a simple surgery to "remove" it. According to the tests that were done, it was just a clump of old, hard breast tissue. Anyway, although it doesn't hurt so much anymore, it still looks like a lump, only smaller near the bottom and the scar, after one year, is still pretty dark and slightly thicker than I thought it would be. Anyway, do you think another doctor could take out more of this fatty tissue so that the area could flatten and possibly stretch my skin a little towards my armpit and close it back up there, creating the new scar under my arm so that it would only show when I raised my hand? I forgot what kind of doctor he was, but if I want this done now, who should I go to? Thank you!

Weird question, I know, but this has really been bothering me.

According to the number of credits I have, I have just entered my senior year in undergraduate schooling. I may actually end up having to complete an additional half year though because I changed my major and transfered schools after my first semester. Therefore, those classes did not pertain to my actual major and I might need a few more courses to complete all the requirements. Now I am also wondering if I should take an additional semester on top of all of that and retake the 3 classes that I scored less than a C+. I currently have a 3.07 gpa, but that is a far cry from where I'd like to be and looking over the website for the University of Minnesota's cognitive and biological psychology program, I think these grades of C+, C, and C might hurt me. What would you do? Is it a good idea to retake these classes?

i would realy like to be a teacher, preferably high school, i am in high school right now, i love it alot, i am not the loudest, or most well-known person, but i do love just being there, the interaction we all have with each othe,r how many ppl there are (i go 2 a vry populated public school, about 3000 ppl), & ive always like jsut the atmosphere of school. i never used to be a good public speaker, until recently ive improved alot. i get a bit jittery, but ive realised i only worry in front of audiences older than me, or my age. i was in a play and stood in front of 1000 10 year olds, spoke to a class full of freshman and i didnt worry or have one fearful thought in my mind... so, i think when it comes to that ill be good, but mainly i want 2 teach becaus i would feel so amazing knowing i have the power to impact ppl, and yet it is a small scale job, i also feel i will have the ability to be creative (im a vry creative person) also im just rly caring, towards strangers even...

My whole life I hated roller coasters and pretty much any ride with twists, turns, loops, and drops at high, fast speeds. I even hate the ladybug roller coaster in City Park. Having only been on it three times, it remains as the only roller coaster I have ever ridden, but over this past summer, my parents decided to take me, my little sister Brianne, and my cousin Michelle, who is my age, to Disney World for my graduation. On this trip, I decided to conquer a ride much scarier than a roller coaster: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Disney’s MGM Studios.

Do I need a comma after life in the first sentence? Do I need to change the tenses of my verbs to past tense, such as in the second sentence the word 'hate' to 'hated.' Is the third sentence too confusing or should I split it into two sentences? Thanks!
