Philosophy is a part of my life, it's who I am, and I love it, and would love to pursue it in college as my major and earn a doctorate.
For a job, I want to do something directly involving philosophy, primarily as a college professor or writer, although I am open to other suggestions.
My main concern, would be financially. Writers have it hard just as writers, especially when first starting out to get published and read. To teach at a College, I would need my doctorate, but to get that, I need money to pay through tuition and living expenses. Although, I don't need a lot of money, I live a frugal life.
Would I have to accept a general job that requires simply a bachelors degree? I have a slight interest in computers as a programmer, but I am self-taught.
