Idiot that I am it was hard to know that I would wind up in this unfortunate predicament but don't let me get ahead of myself . This is exactly how it happened:
It all started this morning when me and a few of my school buddies were talking about our favorite subject:... women!
"I know a place where we could drill a hole and see directly into the ladies locker room" boasted Johnny. He described the spot and we all went to take a look. Mickey nixed the idea immediately, "Seems too risky to me, we'd be sure to get caught." Charlie looked around, "I think something is missing from this picture" he said . We all looked at him.
"What?", we all asked.
"YOUR BRAINS!!" he said laughing. I nodded in agreement with the other guys but the seed had been planted!!
I returned later that day when I knew the ladies locker room would be full, ready to get an eyeful of the forbidden fruit!
As I set up my drill and other surveillance equipment I thought, "I know I will be sorry for this but I can't help myself"
I don't know but I've been told that when you THINK something is a bad decision, you should listen to that inner voice! Unfortunately I paid my inner voice no heed and went ahead with my dastardly plan!
I worked quietly and steadily and after about five minutes of drilling I could start to see the locker room come into vivid focus. I was in "Peeping Tom Heaven" when Jenny-Lou, the lead cheerleader started to undress! She had pulled off her top and was about to unfasten her bra when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
To my great HORROR it was Mrs. MacNeil, my Religeous Studies teacher!
I sit here now.......in the school chapel (actually I'm kneeling,.... part of the "penance"), thanks to an arrangement I made with Mrs. MacNeil. I will be spending MANY a day here immersed into the depths of devotion...repenting for my sins!!

Well, for my most recent tale, I was once influenced via television. Normally television evokes me anyhow. But this one is distinctive. I was once looking Terra Nova on Tv, and despite the fact that it wasn't that satisfactory of a exhibit, I nonetheless noticed the expertise in it. And then I determined that writing a singular with dinosaurs might be so cool, and whatever so in contrast to whatever I've ever performed earlier than. So then I introduced into all this making plans with a lot of these distinctive characters, and it was once going to take position within the jungle with dinosaurs. Then I persevered the making plans system and rewrote outlines. Then I began, and wrote a horrible starting I ended up scrapping. And now I've bought the thought down. And the humorous factor is, dinosaurs are not even a aspect of it anymore. So the article that fairly influenced this novel, does not even exist within the novel anymore. It does nonetheless, nonetheless, take position within the jungle, however the thought is close to fully distinctive from the customary influenced thought.

"I think something is missing from our relationship," said Buttercup.
Idiot that I am it was hard to know what the heck she was talking about. "I know a place in Albuquerque where we could get some couples' counseling," I said. "We could delve into the depths of devotion, and the counselor will help us explore our relationship so we can figure out what we're missing, and if we can get it."
"I KNOW I will be sorry for this but... No, I don't want to go to Albuquerque. I don't know but I've been told that my family has ears everywhere, and there'll be rumors flying that we're having marital problems," said Buttercup. "I don't want to get those started."
"Well, we can try working through it ourselves," I said. "What's on your mind?"
She sighed. "It's that d-mned ambulance parked out front. It's like we belong to the whole town and don't have time for ourselves."
I knew what she meant. Here we were, lying in our bed, fully dressed except for shoes, in case we got a call. This was the way it was once or twice a week. There just weren't enough EMTs and paramedics. Heck, I wasn't a real EMT2 myself, just a deputy sheriff "on loan."
I wondered if she was thinking about children. Yup, hard to have kids when you have to get up in the middle of the night because some drunk is tossing his cookies and needs a Tums, for crying out loud.
Edit:
My earlier pessimism turned out to be unwarranted. On the other hand, I like Cheese's story better than my own. Pwned again! Now I am going to pout.

Life is simply not all it's cracked up to be. It seems to me that no matter what I do, or where I go, I'm stuck swimming in a sea of crazy people. Going against the tide.
I think something is missing.
I don't know, but I've been told that a man needs an anchor in his life. To put all analogies aside, he needs a woman. A creature who acts as the emotional counterbalance to his stoic ways. So I gave it the old college try.
I kept saying to myself, "I KNOW I will be sorry for this, but lets go ahead and conform."
Enter Shayna. Tall, long legged, with dread locks of all things. She had a gothic air about her. I often remember the way she would tilt her head as she recited poetry to me in a melodramatic tone. Her poetry was always seeped in the depression that used to cling to her like a threadbare sweater. There was no doubt she was my counterbalance, however. Where as emotion often eluded me, it simply defined her. Despite her dark disposition, she filled my heart and my world with colors I had never before seen. She brought out a side to me that I was sure hadn't existed.
And I loved her.
Idiot that I am, it was hard to know what motivates an individual who subsists wholly on emotion. Had I known where her thoughts were driving her, I would have interceded. I would have FORCED her off that balcony with the crushing power of love that flowed through me. I would have promised her all she would ever want. Into the depths of devotion, I would have plunged, had I but been present at that one fateful moment when Shayna stood on the balcony and contemplated her existence.
Instead, she jumped.
And here I sit alone.
Don't get me wrong. There are upsides to this white padded room that surrounds me. The real world is kept at bay, as are the mumbling insane that shuffle up and down the corridor outside my room. I know a place like this produces negative images for the majority of society's constituents, but who asked you anyway? It's not so bad really. When all you have is yourself for company, who will bring you down?
But in the end, I've learned something.
The only thing a man ever truly needs is himself.
