i don't live with my parents anymore and we don't have any connections, so would i still be able to go to college without their consent or something? also, i'm graduating next year (i still go to high school), and i'll have to pay for college tuition all by myself. do you think i'll still be able to go to college under my circumstances?

Here's the game...
I write 5 words, you write 5 things they are associated with, for you. The next person looks at the previous poster's words and on we go.

Wedding
Heart
Smell
Lime
House

I struggle to make my way through college when girls my age who have popped out a kid or two get grants and foodstamps. Not only that but they constantly whine about how hard it is to go to school with a child and work. There is always one of these girls in one of my classes and it angers me to no end! Why do I get less when it comes to grants and loans just because I utilize birthcontrol and work fulltime? Bah, it just doesn't seem fair - there is no reward for responsibility.

I want to write something along the lines of "I want to be employed as a pharmacy technician." But my spell/grammar check doesn't like the word "employed" because it is "passive voice". I understand why it is telling me this, I just don't know any other ways I could write that sentence. Any ideas?? (Even if it means using different words as long as it seems professional enough to be in a resume)

We've gotten away from speaking English in this society and communications have suffered. In my view they're at an all time low. Zero tolerance is just one small example.

Hello there! When I am drawing something on a paper (like a box) , what does it mean if it has a scale of 2:1. Does that mean that 2 cm on the paper equals to 1 cm in real life; or is it 1 cm on the paper is equal to 2 cm in real life? Thanks!
