I'm a stay at home mom and would like to get my Master's Degree. The closest college with my degree program is 100 miles away. Are the online colleges any good? I don't want to lose a lot of money. I will need loans to pay for it anyway.

I've read frequent descriptions of older college students, especially with kids or married going back and feeling separate from the student body, not getting involved in clubs/programs and focusing on their studies. Any older students get involved in student life and recapture some of the college social (friends, networking, etc.) experience? I'll be 27 when I start, but I don't have kids nor am I married so I feel separate from the older college students with more experience/responsibilities, but not quite the wacky 19yr old I was years ago.
Of course my #1 goal is my education, I was home-schooled so I'm obsessed with my education anyway!

Thanks,
Tiffany

I'm majoring in Political Science/History, but I realize that that by itself (aside from teaching) won't get me anything jobwise, I might as well work at Wal-mart.

I'd like to get a MA in International Administration and possibly a PhD, and work for an international organization like the UN or just be a US foreign service officer.

So this is a two-part question:

a) Do you think it's possible for me, a single mom. And how do I pay for grad school?

b) Is it a good thing? Is it possible to go to grad school and be a good mom at the same time, or am I stretching myself too thin?

I am 15 yrs old, but turning 16 in July. I'm planning on dropping out of school when I do turn 16. I want to know if I can still get my license if I drop out of school and join a community college to get my GED. So, can I? I already have my permit. Also, I live in the state of Florida.

Please do not flame me as I am not dumb nor am I dropping out of school for a stupid reason. I have straight A's, but I have failed a couple of times and just cannot get back on my feet so I'm just going to take my GED and go to college after that. Thanks.
