I will be starting graduate school this fall. I live with my wife and son, and because my wife stays at home to take care of my son, and I will be a full time student, we will have very little income. I will definitely be taking out student loans to pay for most of my expenses. Could I qualify for subsidized housing, food stamps, ect. while in grad school? Do the applications base acceptance off of the previous tax year income, or current projected income? Do student loans count and projected income?

I will be most likely to leave my teaching post at the completion of this term ( 3 weeks time). I have had a rather tough time at work as I have a student that has attatchment issues and is obsessed with me. Should I tell my students I will not be returning? I do not want to be touched ( hugged) by this one child who's mother is a drug addict and likes to sue and assualt those who cross her path.I want to be honest with the other students but this one child who is obssessed with me can also give me a look like he wants to slit my throat. I teach 7 to 8 year olds. Any Advice? Should I just leave quietly? As I will not be returning to the state system and will be working at a private institution in future that does not deal with behavioural students.

ok so every now and then...usually when i have a fever i fall asleep and i have dreams of me attempting to count something(not really numbers) but just count lots of things...the amount ends up gettin too large and i feel overwhelmed...like as if its almost impossible to count this amount of anything...it would be like someone asking you to count every single ant in the world one by one...it just becomes to much for me in my dream and i go crazy...which results in me waking up sweating and panting and breathing hard...sometimes i will still wonder around the house still thinking of the amount that i was counting and cringing in overwhelmess(lack of better word) until i calm down...is this just a fever dream? does anyone have the same problem?

which month admission starts? i know admission starts september , february . but london school of commerce gives notification for june month . did some colleges offer in june month . if so which colleges are..?

I enrolled in a community college intending to go on to a four year institution and eventually get my PhD in psychology. However, after a semester and a half of study, I've decided that the academic life just isn't for me. I do fine in my classes. I currently have a 3.0 GPA. I'm just not willing to deal with the hassle anymore. I miss my friends back home.

I'm digressing. The point is that I don't want to walk away with just a handful of credits and a bunch of student loan bills. I want to continue on to get my associate's degree at least. Which associate's degree major would be the most valuable?

My 3rd grade step-daughter has a nightly reading assignment, one book read aloud for 15 minutes and signed off on. She stays with us 3 1/2 days a week, reads 3 books when she is here leaving 4 books/4 nights, at her mothers' home to complete. Today I was writing down the 2 she read this weekend on her reading log and noticed her mother has written 6 entries. Impossible, considering she's only allowed to read 1 book each night. So I asked my step-daughter if she had read some of these books, she said no, she had only read 3 out of the 6. I admit, I was a little steamed! I asked why her mother had done this, her (daughter) reply was that she had left the log at school (when it was also due to turn in and she got a missed assignment slip sent home Fri.).She also was told to lie to the teacher saying she had forgotten the log at home, instead of at school, which she told me she won't do. Her teacher and mother keep in contact, would it be a mistake informing the teacher?

i am teaching esl, and i am running short on task-based conversation topics in class. my students are 7-11 years old and intermediate english level. i've given topics like supermarket, restaurant, doctor's office, normal friend conversation, and giving directions. things like this. i am running short on conversation topics to have them work on. can anybody help w/ a good website i can go to for ideas or give me some ideas for topics? thank you.

I have a sister who is just not motivated to study. She herself is pretty weird. She is a really sweet girl but when anyone mentions "study" or "books", she turn into this horrid catty girl.
I tried the soft approach as well as the hard approach.. but she doesnt seem to take both ways well. Any ideas?
