There are a lot of online tutorials in different subjects. For example, google 'arithmetic tutorial' and you can look at lots of different sites. Have a book to test yourself with (SAT or GED or just look in the library for different test preparation books). Use it to help you prepare to reach whatever level you are aiming for. Work on problems and take notes from the tutorials. Do some algebra and geometry the same way. There are websites you can subscribe to (they cost money) too but I'm talking about the free websites.
Good luck! There are plenty of reasons a person might be homeschooling when they are older.

I'm sorry, but you can't technically be homeschooled at 24. You might be doing some sort of distance learning program, but you can't be homeschooled.
If you need a tutor, you would do what anybody else would do: check in newspapers, at local colleges, etc.

Find a local college, university, or anything for adult learning that is beyond the level you want. Put up a flier asking for tutors, my university has a tutor register but if that isn't available, then just any notice board.
Be wise about the charge too, if it is too much then haggle.
