My friend has scored between 75% to 80% in his undergraduate computer engineering at University of Waterloo. He plans to do Graduate Studies in the USA in Computer Science/Computer Engineering. The GPA requirement in USA is minimum of 3.2+ in most universities. How does the 75%-80% convert to GPA?

My friend is in a RT program. She has 3 semesters left. Just before clinicals she found out she was no longer eligible for FAFSA if she continued @ her current school. The school she attends has a habit of taking themselves off student loan list. For example she found a student loan site on the internet and applied and used that to pay for last semester. She reffered others to the same site. This semester her school is no longer on their list. What can she do now. A private loan is out because she can't repay until she finishes school. She pulls double shifts at a hospital on the weekends 32hrs. every week. She also works after class Mon-Fri. and is rasing and is rasing a little boy. Where can she find the money to finish school?

I live in a SNOWY area. My district only allotts four snow days a year. It's NEVER enough. We're always extending the year, or driving in blizzards to get to school! It's stupid! Why not just add more snow days? Does anyone else have this problem with their district?
