There are several jobs worked from home connected with computer use.
1. Selling items on ebay or another auction site
2. Designing and maintaining websites
3. Doing remote clerical work, such as inputting medical forms
4. Copying VHS tapes to DVD disks-scanning old photos and putting them on viewable CDs-putting records and tapes on CDs
If your wife is not into computers, there are other things she can do- I know of people who have done these activities for a living from their homes:
1. Tying fishing flies
2.Quilting to order--also simply doing machine quilting for those who only wish to piece quilt tops
3. Growing plants from seed-especially good if she does heirloom plants or specialty food plants for restaurants
4. Doing genealogical research for people and creating family tree books for them (have done this myself)
5. Mending and alterations on clothing
6. Setting up a garage sale from your home every weekend, where people bring things for sale-your wife gets a percentage. Only works if your location is a good one and if local ordinances allow it.

Silverboy, he means his wife needs to work from home, so that she can get paid. The kind of homework you are talking about, I am sure they do every night. Anyway, my suggestion for working at home would be something like medical transcription or setting appointments for salespeople, etc.

If she knows a second language she can give classes to someone or do translations.
She also can take care of babies...or any little kid.. which mother works outside...
Maybe she can contact people for Avon products, or any other cosmetics line to sell in between his friends...
Or maybe she can do a course that permits her do something from home...
Maybe she is a good writer....
