I didn't do well on the AP Statistics and AP biology exam and I want to get college credit for those by taking a college course for those subjects. I know that community college courses are different than AP class, but just want to make sure.

If your AP scores were not good enough to allow you to get credit for the classes, then of course you should take them. If you feel like you need more time and exposure to truly master the course content, then you should take them.

If you want to know whether there is a problem specifically at the community college you want to attend, you should ask an advisor there. If you know that you want to attend a university after community college, you might ask an advisor at that school also. Those people would be able to tell you the best strategy for success in reaching your final goals.
