I'm applying to Iowa state university. I have always wanted to major in medical or pre-medical illustration, and it's the only university in IA that offer this major.
the problem is that I don't have a high GPA at all, it's 2.7
and my SAT combined score is pretty average 1550 out of 2400. but I have a terrific drawing ability.

what are my chances of getting accepted do you think? do you think it's too low?

Things I like to do (Order DOES matter)
1. Doing challenging MATH
2. Thinking new ideas in term of PHY/CHEM
3. Studying about Earth's system
4. Finding the explaination of nature
5. Thinking without a purpose
6. Interested topic: Environmental issuses, particle, physical CHEM, energy generation, universe
7. Answering people's questions

Should I be a scientist or engineer?
Which field should I be specialized, please be specific?
The best answer would be the one provides information about research project in that field (which university) and its undergraduate program.

Many thanks, it is extremely important to me. Many thanks.

PS: Would it be better if I do ''General Science'' in University? But my concern would be it maybe too easy for me. Because my school report card is much higher than its entrance requirement. Also, I am planning to take two years off because I am only 15. What can I do within these two years to achieve my goal in post-secondary endcation? Thanks.

I'm writing a cinquain using a metaphor, too.
A cinquain is a poem with five line with 22 sylables. On the first line it has 2 then 4,6,8,2.

This is what i have so far, but some lines have more syllables, help me fix it, please!

I think there is a single word which means something like "turn" or "turn of events", that is to say, a word meaning "the flow of some developments of a story".
It's just slipped my mind.
Can anybody happen to think of the word?

It is my contention that block schedules are good for science and social studies with laboratory and research discussions needing hours, but poor for mathematics (particularly AP courses) where daily exposure and practice is needed. But I can not find hard research results supporting this contention except on paid journal sites which I can't afford. Of course students and teachers like having only three or four classes to prepare for daily which teaches procrastination and thwarts everything we know from brain research about daily practice. For once the football coaches are right. if someone told them they could practice only every other day you bet there would be hundreds at the school board meeting. But for the AP Calculus teacher... an empty chamber. No one really cares about success in rigorous courses except to write more rhetoric expounding on how they are providing rigor with no one left behind. BS and I don't mean Bachelor of Science.

I need some good quotes that I can include in an essay about Thucydides' The History of The Peloponnesian War. Any quotes that are about the dangers of alliances and the destructiveness of greed especially. Please include where you got it from in the book or else it's useless for me... Also, if you plan of giving me more than one quote, try to take them from different sections of the book. Thanks to anyone who answers!!!!

(btw, don't say just google it....that's cheap)
