UC San Diego is not that hard to get into. Believe me. I know people who go there.
However, it will depend on your extracurriculars.
If you just have the scores and the grades with no sign of any other interest, activity, or volunteerism, you're out of luck.
Otherwise, you're solid.

4.3? well with today's grade inflation that's about an old 3.7. a 2100 on the new sat is about a 1400 on the old sat. looks like you'll get in just as long as you have a good essay.
