My husband wants to learn Chinese which is smart - he's majoring in Marketing. But as a teacher, I'm not sure if I should pick a foreign language I like, or opt for Spanish or Latin. I intend on focusing on teaching K-5 with a preference on Preschoolers and Kindergarteners. But with the high rate of Spanish speaking people in the United States, I thought Spanish would be advantageous but I don't want to be pigeon-holed in ESOL programs.

Now the thought for my husband is that with the incredible growth of China as a world market (IMO it will surpass Japan fast), Chinese made for a good language to learn. I have a love for the show Firefly and the movie that followed, Serenity and would love to know what they said.

There’s other language out there too, if they would be useful, I'd be happy to hear about them. I'm limited by whatever my school teaches. We can choose between a language or Speaking. but I have a love for languages and would prefer to take them. Thanks for your input!

Slowly but steadily, the sun arose that day. With a sigh, I unenthusiastically prepared for ans. As I was heading to the school I realize that this was going to be a tough year. Unfortunately, my fifth grade year was a horrible year, one of my worst at A.N.S. This was due to my grades, which were always below average, often in the twenty and fifty percent range.
When this nightmare began it was all indistinguishable, I was so sightless that I didn’t even realize what was happening around me. In addition to getting horrible scores, I also paid the principle, daily visits. That was because I often found myself up to my neck in trouble. Since I was a sneaky person, I never told him the truth. I would always tell him a different version of incidents. My teachers sent me for all kinds of things, like not doing homework or living up to their expectations. Yet never did they send me to the Principle for bothering someone. If you haven't already guessed, I felt much more cheerful when the year finally ended.

One of my worst teachers was Mrs. Nix; this was an old lady with weighty eyes that looked at you with a daunting look, it was so deep that they would break through your thoughts. Mrs. Nix an albino teacher had a lot of gray hairs plus she was always wearing an old and dirty black shirt. She was one of the teachers that always send me to the office. I remember there was this time when I was entering her classroom, and the first thing she ask me was, “Ben, did you do your homework?” My answer was obviously no, but since she was such a good teacher she didn’t put me a zero on my homework, instead she send me to the principle, Mr. Hammond.

Our school principle Mr. Hammond might seem like a petrifying gentleman, but his not really that type of guy. What happens when you finally get to talk to him is that you might be scared by his overwhelming look, but I know that besides that frightening look there is an innocent and cool man. I remember that Mr. Hammond was a calm gentleman with me and he never gave me hard punishments, and since I was a sneaky person I always got my way out of problems, without my parents knowing what had had happened.
It was the beginning of the second semester and everything was going very fine, but suddenly something messes up everything. I was send to the office. I was sent to the Principal for not returning back a sign test to the science teacher on the due date. That day the climate was as hot as if I was in a desert. Once I got to Mr. Hammond office, he told me had to suspend me because it was too much, given that everyday I came to him with a different problem. But then, God send me an angel who saved my life, her name was not angel Gabriel it was Paola Guerrerro she begged Mr. Hammond not to suspend me and another group of people that were in the same list of not doing anything. Their were like four other people that were going to be suspended, and besides Paola Guerrerro their was this guy named Mario Cuadra which was a very good friend of mine in the fifth grade. As you imagine Mario Cuadra was also a below average student just like me, and we always went together to the Principal’s Office.

School, was not school for me it was just a place to hang out with friends and talk about what we had done in the weekend. For me going to Mr. Hammond’s office had turn into a daily routine; it was like eating lunch at lunchtime. But not only going to Mr. Hammond’s office had turn into a routine. Getting bad grades was also another everyday habit for me.

It was not always like that, things changed a little bit after sometime. My parents ask me if I needed a tutor, but I told them I was doing alright and that I didn’t needed anyone to help me. But they didn’t comply with what I had told them, because they got me a tutor. I don’t really remember her name but I do remember things changed, with this new tutor always pushing me to do things right I began to get better grades. Fifth grade was kind of a turning point in my life which I hardly passed.

I am a recent graduate of an RN program. I am preparing to take the state boards. I feel as though all the material I learned over the past two years is nowhere to be found in my brain. To try and go back over all the material would be a good idea but, there isn't enough time. Please if anyone could offer me so type of seroiu strategy I would greatly appreciate. I would like to here from some recent people who passed the ENCLEX. Also if you haden't took it recently your imput is just as valuable. Do anyone know of any great NCLEX books. Stressing out here in New Jersey. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.

TeS = Tech School
The Tech School (TeS) in TX was not an accredited school when I graduated w/an AAS. When I moved to LV, NV, the attending College would review my TeS transcripts only if I wanted any credits to transfer, if not, I was instructed to place on my school paperwork that I did not have a degree from any other institution. In returning to TX, we discovered TeS now is an accredited school. Because of that my husband gave his TeS transcript to his attending College for review and they accepted everything, which was a few basics (he wanted to skip) and *a lot* of extra credit classes - he couldn't pick & choose what classes transferred (classes I would retake for better grades and would still need more basics). While this sounds silly at age 32, I'm not happy w/my TeS GPA but I am of my LV GPA (4.0). If I do the same as I did in LV here, can I just transfer my LV classes & grades and or will a flag alert them to a degree from TeS in TX (since my attending college is in TX)?
