Hi,
Am interested in filmmaking but nothing that takes more than 2years. Please suggest a good film school in the New York City?

I've known people that have gone to both Tisch (the NYU film school) and New York Film Academy.
They are both good schools. Tisch will be harder to get in to. Tisch will give you a degree and I believe that the NYFA will only give you a certificate of completion.
I think the other answerer was referring to SUNY schools, which do not suck. There are plenty of them that are incredible.

NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY IS 1 YEAR. NYU IS 4 YEARS AND A LOTTA MONEY. CUNY IS CRAP.
